Enrico BASTIANELLI - CEO of Bone Therapeutics
BONE THERAPEUTICS, a bone cellular therapy company, that caters for major needs that are not met in the field of the repair and prevention of fractures, inaugurated its new head office located in Gosselies Biopark in April 2015.
Bone Therapeutics started by transferring its administrative and R&D departments there, with production activities following in the middle of 2016, as well as two manufacturing units. In 2018, four other units will be added in order to meet the manufacturing needs required for the pre-marketing and marketing of Bone Therapeutics' products. Also, the site will be able to welcome additional production units at a later date.
The Biopark is a particularly innovative high-tech cluster that is adapted to the growing needs of cellular therapy companies based in Belgium. That is why Bone Therapeutics and the cellular therapy company Promethera Biosciences decided to invest and locate there. The construction of the new 3000 m² building is part of a much larger project which aims to create the Walloon Cell Therapy Platform (PWTC).
Enrico Bastianelli, CEO of Bone Therapeutics: "We were delighted to locate to our brand-new site in the heart of this very dynamic park dedicated to biotechnologies in Belgium. After the rapid progress of our clinical programmes and our initial public offering, this installation marked a major step for our company, its commercial development and the continuous growth of its activities".
