A project that was imagined in 2004 has just been completed in Tubize after two years of work. In the long term, the new business park in Tubize is ready to welcome 1,650 new jobs!
A number of companies in the region are delighted to see new land become available and the park is already enjoying a certain success. Reservations have already been registered for more than 40% of the land!
The park benefits from modular plots of land of varied dimensions in order to better meet the needs of businesses.
A strict criterion in terms of employment and land use must be followed by all the companies: employ at least 25 people per hectare.
Michel Januth, the Mayor of Tubize
"No fewer than 70 hectares are devoted to the installation of new businesses, all ideally located with an excellent liaison with the road network near the A8 motorway exit."
At the cutting-edge of technology, the park is equipped with the latest innovations in terms of Internet access and networks with very high-speed optical fibre. Public lighting will also be equipped with LED technology.
Soft mobility has also been taken into account with the creation of a bicycle-pedestrian path and various alternatives for the future occupants.
Thanks to a €20 million budget provided for Walloon Brabant in the frame of the Sowalfin finance plan, the extension of two other parks in Nivelles North and Hélécine will be possible.
