Triseum and SDR Technologies set up in Wallonia thanks to Awex and WSL's Soft Landing programme
Triseum and SDR Technologies used the Soft Landing programme launched by WSL and the AWEX to run their business in Europe from Wallonia.
The Soft Landing programme, a strategic approach for Wallonia
The Walloon incubator, WSL, a significant operator in the field, is one of the ten best technology incubators in the world, and the Awex, with its international network, and able to train its teams in the WSL offer, have come together to develop a programme to help international start-ups to set up in Wallonia and help them enter the European market quickly and at minimum cost.
Intended for technology companies having already sold a first solution (product or service) in Europe, and who want to continue selling their innovative products there.
The Soft Landing programme supports their development thanks to a one-stop shop allowing the rapid creation of a legal structure and by putting them in contact with strategic partners (universities, R&D centres, organisations, etc).
“Through this partnership with WSL, which offers clear knowledge and know-how in the development of technological companies, the Awex has an added advantage for attracting foreign investors in Wallonia. In fact, this advantage will allow it to more effectively target specific projects with high potential which will form part of the various Walloon ecosystems already supported by the agency, ecosystems which will thus be strengthened for the benefit of our region” .

Based in Bryan/College Station in Texas (USA), the company offers innovative educational solutions which combine the joy and pleasure of play with the science of education to help students with the crucial learning process.
SDR TECHNOLOGIES
Founded in France in 2016 and established in Rambouillet, the company designs digital processing platforms for radio signals for the real-time monitoring of the spectrum specific to a company or project. The tools offered by the company analyse, detect and list the different radio signals to check that only those desired are present. Today, SDR Technologies offers its customers in France ready-to-use “Software Defined Radio” solutions and engineering services.
Both companies benefiting from this Soft Landing programme will be supported with the establishment of their legal structure and must adapt their products to the European market with the help of the WSL team and the AWEX’s network of economic advisors.
