The Ferrero plant in Arlon is going to be extended further
Ferrero Ardennes, a leading economic player in southern Luxembourg, will again be investing in its chocolate plant, one of the group's largest. As the main production site for the group's Kinder Surprise the plant exclusively manufactures Kinder Schoko-Bons and Raffaello for the entire world.

"We are the fourth in the group after Germany, Italy, and Poland. 97% of our production leaves Benelux and we export to Europe, Latin America, and Asia. We are seeing a large increase in volume. The plant is experiencing a boom, accompanied by a great deal of investment."
The investment concerns the new production lines for Schoko-Bons, the modernisation of the current equipment, and the extension of the store for finished goods. In the past three years, €110 million have been invested and about the same sum will be invested in the coming years.
Furthermore, Ferrero has also just announced the installation of a Ferrero Academy, a worldwide group training centre, in Arlon.
