Q1 Scientific complements and reinforces a particularly important value chain in Wallonia

Q1 Scientific, which from now on belongs to the Cambrex group (USA), offers services allied to stability studies, to biorepository, as well as to temperature-controlled storage rooms. These involve essential elements in developing clinical studies. The enterprise already had clients in Belgium and talked with them from Ireland: from now on, these relations will be able to operate locally because Q1 Scientific is establishing a unit at Villers-le-Bouillet, where 10 jobs will need to be created as quickly as possible.
The fact of becoming integrated in an existing value chain is a determining element in the decision by the company, which is also relying on Wallonia's trump cards, such as the skilled and available labour force or, additionally, the effective logistics infrastructures, to create value.
