Inovyn invests 100 million euros in its Jemeppe-sur-Sambre site
The chemical company Inovyn has just unveiled a 100 million euro investment plan for its Jemeppe-sur-Sambre site (Province of Namur).
A better response to the growing demand for PVC
The goal of this investment is to boost PVC production on the site in order to meet the growing demand from the construction, electronics, packaging, water and energy sectors.

Jemeppe is one of the most competitive production units in Europe and these investments will further strengthen its position as a world-class site.
Increase in production and new jobs
The Jemeppe-sur-Sambre plant, which produces almost 480,000 tonnes of PVC a year, is the Group's largest production unit.
This new investment will allow the production of a further 200,000 tonnes a year and the creation of new jobs on the site, which currently employs 479 people.
The first phase of the expansion is due to be completed in 2020.
One of the largest PVC producers in Europe
Inovyn, which has 4,300 employees on 16 sites in ten countries, has an annual turnover of 3.5 billion euros.
The subsidiary of Swiss giant Ineos is working to strengthen its key position in the plastics and its day-to-day derivatives market.
